Objective: The aim of this research was to investigate the effect of a creative drama learning environment based on observational learning theory on the concentration of sixth-grade elementary school students in Qorveh City in the 1403-1404 academic year.
Methods: The present research is an applied study in terms of its purpose and the nature of the data, and is a quantitative and quasi-experimental study that was conducted with a pre-test-post-test design, along with a control group. The statistical population of this study included all sixth-grade male students of the elementary school in Qorveh City, who were studying in the academic year 1403-1404. In this research, 45 students were selected by convenience sampling and were randomly assigned to three groups of 15. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data using SPSS 27 software.
Results: The results of data analysis showed that the traditional creative drama learning environment and the textual creative drama learning environment based on observational learning theory have a significant effect on concentration. Also, the effect of the creative drama learning environment based on observational learning theory is significant compared to the traditional creative drama learning environment on concentration.
Conclusions: By properly utilizing the creative drama learning environment based on observational learning theory, an effective platform can be created to improve students' concentration in formal and informal education.
