Aims: The purpose of the current research was to provide a model of the causal relationships of academic buoyancy based on grit and future orientation mediated by problem solving skills in students using the method of structural equation modeling.
methods: This research has been as the descriptive correlation and structural equations Statistical with a sample of 382 students of BuAli Sina University, who were selected based on the Morgan table and by cluster sampling. The research tool consisted of 4 questionnaires: Dehghanizadeh and hosin-Chari's academic buoyancy (2013), Duckworth's grit (2007), Steinberg's future orientation (2009), Heppner's problem solving skills(1982). Data analysis was done by using Lisrel and spss statistical software.
Results: The results indicated that the direct and indirect effect of grit and future orientation on academic buoyancy, Also, grit and future orientation have a direct effect on problem-solving skills And problem solving skills have a direct effect on academic buoyancy.
Conclusion: The proposed model of the current research has goodness of fit statistics with the collected data. In the light of these findings, considering the influential role of grit and futurenorientation and their changeable and flexible capacity, educational programs are necessary to increase academic buoyancy.
